Jaipur Tiger Festival
Jaipur Tiger Festival, popularly known as JTF is a unit of Rajasthan Heritage, Art and Cultural Foundation which utilizes its resources and initiatives for the purpose of wildlife and tiger conservation. The Rajasthan Heritage, Art & Cultural Foundation is a registered charitable trust and has Section 80G certification under the Income Tax Act. Rajasthan Heritage, Art & Cultural Foundation is registered for undertaking CSR activities.
Objectives
-To create love, compassion and empathy towards tigers in the minds of people.
-To aware people about endangered species of tigers from our regionTo ensure a viable atmosphere to the tigers in their natural habitat.
-To reduce the factors that lead to the depletion of tigers.
-To assist patrol and protection of tiger habitats.
-To work for wildlife and forest conservation.
-To aware people and local residents about forest conservation.
-To organize various workshops, seminars, lectures, exhibition to award/felicitation for the awareness of wildlife and flora and fauna.
-To organize welfare activities for the forest persons and their families.
-To assist government and to take part in government activities/programs for the conservation of forest and wildlife in general and for tigers in particular.
-To provide information on wildlife measures.
-To provide management focus and measures for addressing the conflicts between men and wild animals.
-To regulate and standardize tourism activities.
Jaipur Tiger Festival previously conducted Tiger Photography Exhibitions in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023, showcasing the work of over a hundred nationally and globally known wildlife photographers. A large number of students from various schools, colleges, and the general public, including renowned politicians, bureaucrats, judicial officials, and social activists, among others, attended the exhibition.
The exhibition displays many awe-inspiring and eye-catching views of a Tiger’s life and ecology. With this ongoing endeavour, our primary goal is to raise knowledge, a sense of belonging, and wonder in order to inspire people to admire the Tiger and encourage them to take action for its protection.
Jaipur Tiger Festival also conducts free medical & health checkup camps for the staff of forest department, Jaipur and their family, talk shows in schools & colleges regarding awareness about conservation of our national animal. Irrespective of this, Jaipur Tiger Festival also giving financial aids to the people either government or private service that requires help for any injury or for other required related purpose.
